At Sherydane, Made in France is a strong, committed, and intentional choice. Our period panties are crafted in France by a renowned textile manufacturer, specialized since 1947, and recognized since 2019 with the state label Living Heritage Company (EPV).
This official label highlights the excellence of French craftsmanship, technical mastery, and the expertise of the men and women who perpetuate exceptional trades.

Today, this manufacturer is one of the last textile companies with an entirely French manufacturing chain, with no relocation for over 70 years. A rare legacy, carrying history, resilience, and high standards, which Sherydane is proud to support and keep alive.

Origine France Garantie Label

Products bearing the Origine France Garantie label attest to being manufactured primarily in France according to strict criteria. This independent certification guarantees that at least 50% of the product's cost price is earned in France and that the essential stage of manufacturing is carried out on French territory. Monitored by independent certifying bodies, this label ensures real transparency regarding the origin of production. It promotes French industrial know-how, supports the local economy, and helps maintain high standards of quality and traceability.

GOTS-certified organic cotton

At Sherydane, we select high-quality natural materials to guarantee comfort, durability, and respect for the body. Our panties are made with Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)-certified organic cotton, one of the most demanding textile standards in the world. This international label guarantees that the cotton is grown without pesticides or harmful chemicals, while ensuring complete traceability of the fiber, from cultivation to textile manufacturing.

The GOTS certification also imposes strict social requirements, inspired by the conventions of the International Labour Organization, to ensure decent working conditions for producers and workers in the textile chain. This label thus ensures a production process that is more respectful of the earth, natural resources, and the people who grow and process the cotton.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 Label

The fabrics used in Sherydane panties are also OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified, a globally recognized certification for textile safety. This label guarantees that every component of the product, including fabrics, threads, elastics, and dyes, has been tested by recognized independent institutes to verify the absence of substances harmful to health.

Hundreds of potentially irritating or toxic substances are checked according to strict criteria. This certification is particularly important for products in direct contact with the skin, and even more so for period panties worn for several hours. Thanks to these requirements, Sherydane offers protection that is safer, healthier, and suitable for sensitive intimate areas.


An absorbent layer made of natural viscose

At the heart of Sherydane technology is an absorbent layer made of viscose of natural origin, selected for its absorbent, breathable, and soft properties against the skin.

Viscose is a fiber derived from natural raw materials, recognized for its ability to effectively absorb moisture while promoting good air circulation. It thus helps limit the feeling of dampness and improves comfort over the hours.

Thanks to its structure, this antibacterial layer contributes to a healthier and more balanced environment by naturally reducing the conditions favorable to odor development. It offers reliable protection without adding aggressive chemical treatments or controversial substances.

Combined with the other technical layers of the Sherydane period panty, viscose plays a key role in the overall performance of the product:

Our panties absorb the equivalent of 2 to 5 tampons

Light-to-medium flow (2 to 3 tampons)

Heavy flow: 4 to 5 tampons

  2. Second layer to retain blood and antibacterial to absorb odors (1 to 2 layers depending on model and flow: light, medium, or heavy). 85% Viscose - 15% polyester
  3. Third waterproof layer to protect against leaks. 100% polyester with polyurethane coating.

The period panty

It is crafted with 4 superimposed layers of technical fabrics. The first layer in direct contact with the skin is made of organic cotton (produced from organic farming). It is designed to keep you dry without moisture. The second layer retains blood and absorbs odors; it is antibacterial and breathable. The third waterproof layer protects against leaks. Finally, the fourth layer made of organic cotton is a clean, thin, and pleasant layer. The crotch seam is completely invisible under your clothes. This panty is suitable for a light to medium flow and absorbs 2 to 3 tampons.

The menstrual shorty & high-waisted absorbent panty

The shorty and the high-waisted panty are crafted with 5 superimposed layers of technical fabrics.

The first layer in direct contact with the skin is made of organic cotton. It is designed for keeping you dry without moisture. The second and third layers allow for the retention of heavy flows, are antibacterial and odor-resistant for guaranteed comfort for several hours. The third waterproof layer protects against leaks. Finally, the fourth layer made of organic cotton is a clean, thin, and pleasant layer. The crotch seam is completely flat to remain invisible under clothes.

These two natural solutions absorb the equivalent of 4 to 5 tampons. For a very heavy or hemorrhagic flow, we advise you to have one or two spare panties so you do not find yourself in an awkward situation. Sherydane waterproof carrying pouches allow you to travel and carry your clean or used panties with peace of mind.
