A commitment for all

Sherydane was born from a true story. That of its founder, marked from childhood by a reality still too often passed over in silence: experiencing menstruation without suitable solutions.

Lacking resources, my first periods involved simple pieces of fabric, a method passed down from my grandmother to her mother and then to me. My mother, a widow with three daughters to support, had no means, so there was no alternative. Then came years of discomfort, irritation, and pain, linked to the use of poorly tolerated disposable sanitary products, and later, a menstrual cup that wasn't suitable for my body.

These experiences left a deep impression, but above all a conviction: women deserve intimate protection that respects their health, dignity and well-being, without compromise or guilt.

After becoming a mother, I decided to transform this personal story into a meaningful and purposeful project. Sherydane was born with a clear ambition: to create intimate protection designed like a cocoon. Menstrual underwear that is healthy, soft, reliable, and sustainable. A humane alternative, free from harmful substances, discomfort, and taboos.

Designed in Switzerland and co-created with users and the community, Sherydane period panties are then ethically manufactured in France with expertise recognized even at the Élysée Palace. Sherydane panties are designed with high standards and a commitment to quality, using OEKO-TEX® certified materials, free of toxins, endocrine disruptors, and PFAS, in small, family-run workshops. Each style is designed to support women at every stage of their lives: from their first period (starting at age 10) to menopause, from postpartum to urinary leakage and incontinence.

Today, Sherydane is much more than a brand. It's a passion project and a social endeavor, committed to a fairer, more inclusive, and more respectful approach to female intimacy.

✨ A word from the founder

In middle and high school, I wish I had had protection like the one I created today with Sherydane .
At the time, managing my period often meant stress, discomfort, and fear of leaks . Fear of getting up in class, fear during sports, fear of it being noticeable, fear of thinking about it all day.

The rules didn't stop for classes, sports activities, exams, or social life. Yet, the proposed solutions were neither reassuring nor respectful of the body, and certainly not designed with young girls in middle school in mind.

It is from this experience that Sherydane was born.
I wanted to create healthy, comfortable and secure period panties , specially adapted for first periods, so that today's teenage girls can experience this moment without shame, without fear and without compromising their health.

Because every girl deserves to feel free, confident, and respected from her first period. And because women's health should never be a luxury.
