How to properly care for your period underwear

To ensure optimal longevity and preserve the absorbency of your Sherydane period panties, follow our recommendations:

✔ Before first use: machine wash your underwear at a maximum of 40°C or soak it for 2 hours in cold water. This softens the fabric and optimizes its absorbency.

✔ After each use : 🌿 Rinse: Rinse your panties in cold water until the water runs clear. Let them air dry and then wash them with the rest of your laundry whenever you want, or when you get back from vacation.

✔ Washing : Machine wash with similar colored laundry or ideally in a laundry bag, at a maximum of 40°C. You can also hand wash it with regular detergent if you need to dry it and wear it again quickly.

✔ Drying

🚫 Avoid the tumble dryer : air dry your panties on a clothesline, clothes drying rack, or hang them in the bathroom.

🚫 Do not place on a very hot electric radiator to avoid quickly damaging the absorbent fiber .

✔ Products to avoid :

❌ No fabric softener, conditioner or Marseille soap that is too oily, which can clog the fabric and reduce absorption.

✔ Tip if you're too lazy to rinse or can't stand the sight of blood 😉 : at the end of your period, machine wash your period panties in cold water on a cotton or synthetic cycle. Then, let them air dry. If necessary, a second wash at a maximum of 40°C can be done.
